About Our High Profile Site
For advertisers trying to reach seniors or their adult children (50+ market) we offer a Web site that is senior friendly, easy to navigate, loads fast and is filled with information that keeps visitors coming back, including two online monthly newsletters.
Over the years we have become an important resource for the news media which leads to a good deal of press coverage. Sometimes they use information from our site, other times we are interviewed for television, magazine or newspaper stories. We have appeared on NBC’s Today Show and ABC’s World News Tonight.
Among the magazines and newsletters we have appeared in are: Time Magazine, Money Magazine, Newsweek, U.S. News & World Report, Kiplinger’s Personal Finance (several times), Bottom Line/Retirement, Retirement Weekly — A Market Watch publication from Dow Jones, Kiplinger’s Retirement Report newsletter, Consumer Report’s Money Adviser, the AARP Bulletin and AARP The Magazine, Fidelity Investments’ quarterly publication, and Wachovia Securities’ client magazine.
Newspapers reporting on us have included The New York Times (several times), The Wall Street Journal (several times), the Atlanta Journal Constitution, The Christian Science Monitor, the Charleston (SC) Post and Courier, the Dallas Morning News (several times), the Fort Worth Telegram (TX), The News-Journal (Wilmington, DE), New Haven (CT) Register, Akron Beacon Journal, The Tennessean (Nashville, TN), Boston Herald, Asbury Park Press (NJ), Palm Beach Post, Bergen Record (NJ), and the Baltimore Examiner.
We are mentioned in at least three books: Nextville: Amazing Places to Live the Rest of Your Life by Barbara Corcoran; Retire on Less Than You Think — The New York Times Guide to Your Financial Future written by Fred Brock, and The New Retirement: The Ultimate Guide to the Rest of Your Life by Jan Cullinane and Cathy Fitzgerald.
AARP regularly refers people to our site and currently over 700 other sites have links to us.
In an effort to assist you in marketing your community or facility, the Retirement Living Information Center is providing, through this Web site, an electronic directory where seniors, their caregivers or their adult children can search to find a place there the senior person or couple can spend the next phase of their life.
We currently offer three options:
Logo with Tag Line
Individual communities or corporations with multiple communities choose this option for high profile advertising. On the home page of the Retirement Communities & Senior Housing section you get your logo (with a link) and a 6 – 7 word tag line. Please E-mail us for more details.

Your community can be placed in as many categories as are appropriate at no additional charge. Updates are free. The cost for the full-page listing is $900/year. You may E-mail us or call 203-938-0417 to request a form.
Abbreviated Listing with Web Link
An abbreviated listing showing the name, address and telephone number of your community/facility in the appropriate category(ies) — and a link to your Web site and /e-mail link. The cost is $255 per year. There is no additional charge to be listed in more than on category. To read descriptions of each category, go to the bottom of this page — Retirement Communities and Senior Housing. To sign up just fill in the form below and submit it to us. We will bill you later.

Companies wishing to be listed in The MarketPlace or Special Products and Services sections will benefit from the growing number Web-using seniors (people 55 and older) who are purchasing online.
The MarketPlace includes products suitable for all ages. The Special Products and Services section includes items to assist seniors in daily living.
We will list your company and describe your products in the category(ies) you select and link to your Web site. If you do not have a Web site, we will include your address, telephone and fax numbers so that buyers can easily contact you.
