Complete Care Home Warranty Review

As your home ages, repairs are inevitable. A home warranty plan can help reduce the costs associated with fixing appliances, plumbing, central air and other essentials in your home. Complete Care Home Warranty offers three plans: Systems, Appliance and Combo. The company provides licensed and vetted professionals to repair covered items in every state except California and Washington.

Pros

  • No age restrictions on appliances and systems covered
  • Unlimited service calls
  • Protection guarantee

Cons

  • Very limited information on the website

Complete Care Home Warranty Plans

It’s essential to know how a home warranty differs from homeowners’ insurance. Homeowners insurance provides coverage in the event of an accident or natural disaster that damages your home, as well as for theft, liability and other losses. Complete Care Home Warranty can help you manage the cost of home repairs due to normal wear and tear, which your homeowner’s policy doesn’t pay for.

Complete Care’s Systems Plan covers major systems, including HVAC, electrical and plumbing. The Appliance Plan covers kitchen and laundry appliances, garage door opener and installed household fans. The Combo Plan offers the best deal by combining coverage in the other two plans for a small additional cost.

Complete Care Home Warranty Plans
Systems Plan Heating and air conditioning, ductwork, electrical, water heater. Plumbing system and stoppage
Appliance Plan Refrigerator, washer and dryer, oven/range/stove, cooktop, microwave (built-in), garbage disposal, garage door opener, ceiling and exhaust fans
Combo Plan Combines everything in the Systems and Appliance plans for just $79 more

Complete Care Home Warranty Add-on Options

Complete Care customers can add additional coverage for a free-standing or refrigerator ice maker, second refrigerator, some roof leaks and more:

  • Pool and spa
  • Well pump
  • Septic system repairs and pumping
  • Water softner
  • Central vacuum
  • Sump pump

How to File a Claim with Complete Care Home Warranty

When a covered system or appliance breaks down, call Complete Care’s customer service line to place a claim. A licensed, insured technician will come to your home to diagnose the issue. We include Complete Care Home Warranty in our Best Home Warranties guide because the company covers any appliance regardless of age and does not limit the number of service calls.

Safe and Competent Contractors

Complete Care Home Warranty screens all technicians and only works with those who are licensed, bonded and insured in the states where they operate. All technicians also go through criminal background checks to ensure customers are safe at all times.

Complete Care Home Warranty Costs

Complete Care Home Warranty Appliance and Systems Plans each cost $420. You will pay $499 for a Combo Plan. There may also be a service fee associated with each visit, so confirm all costs before buying a warranty. Keep in mind other warranties you have on items before you buy a plan from Complete Care.

How to Buy a Complete Care Home Warranty

Call the number published on the Complete Care website or fill out the form on the site to receive a quote. You can also call to request more information about the warranties.

Complete Care Home Warranty Complaints

The Better Business Bureau has no listing for Complete Care Home Warranty, so it did not receive any complaints. Trustpilot and review sites published no complaints, and we found only one review online. The lack of reviews suggests this is a newer company.

The review, from a site focused on home warranty companies, gave Complete Care Home Warranty 5 stars for customer service, repair time and repair quality.

Complete Care Home Warranty Q&A

  • Is everything in the home covered by a Complete Care Home Warranty plan?

Your Complete Care Home Warranty covers listed appliances and systems on your plan contract. Read the contract thoroughly and be sure you understand all the details and exclusions before you buy a home warranty. We found no home warranty companies that cover everything in the home in our research.

  • Does Complete Care Home Warranty allow me to choose the contractor that makes repairs?

Complete Care Home Warranty vets the contractors they dispatch for repairs. You may not get your preferred contractor. However, Complete Care ensures a licensed, bonded and insured company that specializes in the type of problem you’re having completes the repair.

  • When does a Complete Care Home Warranty go into effect?

Complete Care warranties go into effect 30 days after you pay for your policy.

  • Is Complete Care Home Warranty open for claims over weekends?

You can call Complete Care for warranty service on weekends, holidays and every day of the year, 24 hours a day.

  • Are there any other costs other than the fee for the Complete Care Home Warranty plan?

We found an estimated $49 per trip service fee for Complete Care technicians to diagnose your repair. Confirm service fee cost and whether the charge is only for diagnosis, or if you have to pay again if the technician returns to make repairs. These trade service fees are the norm for all home warranties.

Conclusion

A Complete Care Home Warranty plan can help you save money on expensive home repairs. With a Complete Care Home Warranty, you’ll know your costs should a covered appliance or system break down. To determine whether a home warranty is right for you, read the service contract thoroughly and ask questions before you purchase any home warranty.

Never work with this company. You might get a cheaper offer from them but you won't get any service when you need.

My A/C stopped working and after 2 months being in touch with them and wasting several hours and paying $150 for two visits by different technicians referred by their own company, they even didn't listen to technicians and the reason of failure which was wear and tear and denied replacement with completely changing the report to what they were looking for from the beginning.

I purchased the warranty last December. I was lured by the Agent to pay $1500 for a 6 yr policy. This company is a complete scam.

They cannot even provide a plumber. I have been waiting since January. All the plumbers they gave me, they denied the company. I’ve been wanting to cancel the policy, but they gave me empty promises. They’re thieves and liars.

Had issues with our garage door. The turnaround time to dispatch the technician was quick and well handled. The technician was professional and quickly solved the issue while maintaining COVID19 safety precautions. Complete Care communicated very well right from start to end.

While transitioning from another home appliance plan our discussion was very calming with a sense of interest. Better pricing and extended coverage. What also was interesting is that if needed I can select my own service provider. Complete Care home warranty did a nice job responding to my claim. Their customer service representative was excellent at providing information and assistance in processing the claim. I appreciated that CCHW contacted a service company and set up a service call. The service company called me quickly and got the details of the problem. Problem solved quickly, professionally, and with courtesy.

The gentleman I spoke to (Jason) was very polite and respectful. He was definitely trying to help me get the best plan for my home. I enjoyed talking to him. I hope I never have to use this plan but it's great to know I have it just in case.
