Our Life Enrichment Department offers an array of activities: in-house movies, exercise classes, book club/reviews, musical performances and holiday celebrations, just to name a few.
I've lived here for 6 years. My cottage is nestled at the end of the private gated drive. Not having a "buy in" or a large sum of money up front was a plus. Also never having to hire a vendor for maintenance.
My monthly fee covers maintenance, use of a state of the art exercise equipment with staff supervision as desired, a meal every day, and prior to the virus - guest musical performances, bridge, other games, and book club.
The dining staff remembers my favorite and not favorite foods. My family appreciates that I have access to immediate help if I need it.

I first saw the Villages in January when Marti ** showed my daughter and I around. We also met the CEO Skyler Peterson that day. Both of us were very impressed.
I sold my house & moved into a 1 bedroom garden Home on March 24th, with Honey (my Maltese & Havanese mixture puppy). Unfortunately that was the day after we sheltered in place.
Needless to say, that prevented some of the activities that were usually offered here. Even so I love it. Everyone is so friendly, both the staff & residents. in the 6 months that I have been here, I have made many new friends.
The food is good, & they have a great variety here also. There is a large choice of alternates, if the meal does not appeal to you.
If I have had a problem, I made a phone call & maintenance took care of it immediately. We are beginning to have more activities while still distancing & wearing masks.
