The two airlines have agreed to integrate their loyalty program benefits, saying it will provide customers unprecedented access to a wider network of destinations and seamless booking options.
While not a full codeshare, the Blue Sky collaboration will feature deep integration between the two carriers, including mutual loyalty earning and redemption, expanded flight search capabilities across both websites and apps, and shared traveler perks.
JetBlue’s TrueBlue and United’s MileagePlus members will soon be able to earn and use points or miles on each other’s flights. JetBlue flyers will get access to United’s vast global reach, including destinations like Cape Town, Tahiti, and Tokyo.
United customers gain access to JetBlue’s robust East Coast and Caribbean network, including 90 daily flights to hot spots like Aruba, Barbados, and Jamaica.
Blue Sky enables each airline’s customers to book flights through the other’s digital platforms. Additionally, JetBlue’s Paisly platform will now power United’s hotel, rental car, cruise, and travel insurance bookings, streamlining leisure travel purchases under one intuitive umbrella.
