Guided by Executive Director Andy King, Senior Star at Las Colinas Village employs chefs, housekeepers, security officers and transportation administrators that are committed to quality care and excellent service.

At Senior Star at Las Colinas Village, residents have a variety of options in how they choose to spend each day. Chef-made meals, which include dishes like chicken florentine with roasted garlic sauce or veal scaloppini, can be enjoyed in the community dining room or from the comfort of the resident’s apartment. Each apartment is equipped with a kitchenette, too, so residents can make their own meals if they prefer. Additionally, guests are welcome to join residents for dinner or even to host a special gathering like a birthday party or anniversary celebration. Between meals, the facility hosts a handful of daily events that residents can enjoy, like Scrabble, book club, movies, knitting, Bible study or painting. Other activities include blood pressure checks, current events updates, ice cream socials and outings to Santa Fe.

Residents at this facility include individuals, couples and even siblings. To maintain relationships outside their accommodations, residents have 24/7 access to email, social networking and Skype to keep in touch with loved ones.
