Never do business with this company because they’re a definite scam for senior. The chair stopped working before the end of the third week! Almost impossible to get service and when you do then you get to pay more for repairs!

I purchased an Ameriglide wheelchair lift in December of 2020. I paid $4869 by cashier check. When I inquired about the time of delivery, I was told my cashier check bounced. Cashier's checks do not bounce and anyone who has paid for any item with one knows that.

JSC Federal Credit Union has confirmed that the company deposited the check on December 22, 2020 and the check cleared on December 23. I can not replace the money as it is on a VA grant and I have only my compensation as income.

These people are thieves and liars. I have cancer and I need the chairlift to end my days in some dignity. The VA will not get involved and I can not afford an attorney. I keep getting the same lie. Avoid this company of thieves. They are not worth your time, money or aggravation.

I bought an Amerglide rave and it's under warranty. Beware to stay away from this company. Amerglide has nobody local to repair it and they're sending me the parts to fix it myself. We live in Massachusetts. Shame on Ameriglide.

Timothy always made himself available prior to and through my purchase of the stairlift. Right after my purchase, my father became ill and passed away on September 8 even before I could install it so it sat in my garage unopened for approximately one month. I had called Timothy and left messages and emailed him of my situation and asked for option of returning the lift. He was responding like he was before the purchase and I tried several company numbers and they all redirected back to the sales representative, Timothy. When he finally responded, he told me he would run it up to management and asked for pictures of the boxes which I sent over immediately. I sent a follow up email and called a few more times leaving messages and then he responded with this email: “Hi George, Unfortunately we can’t take this lift back. It’s just too far past our company’s rules on returns. This may change at some point but I have no idea when. Maybe try Offerup or Craigslist. Best Regards, Timothy”. After receiving this message I sent him another email and left a voice message that I would like to speak to a manager for further assistance. Timothy called me back and reiterated their policy of standing behind the 10 day return policy.

When I asked to speak to a manager, he handed the phone over to someone named Robby who identified himself as a “Lowest Level Manager”. He said he was aware of my situation and there was nothing they could do since it was past their warranty according to their policy. I then asked Robby about returning under their used or refurbished program and he stated that the buyback program didn’t exist anymore.

When I asked to speak to a higher level manager, Robby told me he didn’t know who they were and I could get their information from the internet. I want to make everyone aware of their great customer service until the sale but after that they no longer willing to stand by their products or customers. I hope to hear from someone from AmeriGlide that will actually be willing to resolve this issue.

I purchased a stairlift due to the fact that walking the stairs was impossible and the AmeriGlide stairlift was the fit. The stairlift was installed quickly, cleanly and professionally and their response to installing it was very good.

Ameriglide is a fraudulent company! Twice I have ordered batteries, for my 90 year old Mother-in-Law's stairlift! Twice they REFUSED to send the batteries! When I call to ask why they REFUSE to send the batteries, they laugh and hang up! I then called several of the "store locations" and was told that Jeff Sheffer - CEO - AmeriGlide, Inc. treats them the same way too!

They cannot get any parts from the Raleigh, NC location and have to depend on jury rigging to satisfy their customers! I was also told that BatteriesPlus can get these batteries, which I have done. Jeff Sheffer - CEO - AmeriGlide, Inc. needs to have some people come to his home a teach him a lesson in customer service, and I know just the Battle Hardened U.S. Marines that would be more than happy to teach Mr. Sheffer this vitally important lesson!

They are NOT happy about the way Mr. Sheffer has treated my 90 year old Mother-in-Law! BOYCOTT Ameriglide! They have no Honor and cannot be trusted in any Way, Shape, nor Form!

Purchased a Horizon Plus from the Ameriglide store in Lexington, KY. Called in on a Monday, they came and measured on Tuesday, presented a quote, and installed the lift on Wednesday. Excellent product, price, and service.

Our unit was installed 3 weeks past the installation date given. There was no update info provided by the installing company. And the salesman Sean gave me the runaround when we asked for fair compensation for the delay, which had my Mom staying in rehab till the job was complete... my advice? Pay a little more and have the job done right!

We decided we needed a stair lift and lucky enough we found Ameriglide. We live in OR and when I started looking I of course went online. Found Ameriglide, great price, and good overall ratings. Then, went to get local bids as they did not install stair lifts in OR because of OR regulations. Well, was I surprised with the local prices. I got prices from Acorn, Bruno, and a Stannah dealer. The best price I could get locally for an installed lift was $3600 and the high was almost $6000. Took another look online and ended up back at Ameriglide. Talked with one of their reps in AZ and he confirmed he could not install the lift in OR however he could sell me a lift for self installation. He reviewed the process and advised that their lifts were very simple to install and for most the process takes about 3 hours. I talked to my husband and we decided to give it a shot as we could save thousands of dollars. Yes, their price for our delivered Horizon stair lift was $1998.00 which saved us at least $1600 over the next closest price. My husband installed the lift with no problems at all in just about 3 hours as advised. Works great, very nice quality, great instructions and online videos of installation. We can highly recommend Ameriglide if you need a stair lift for your home!

We purchased a curved stair lift from Ameriglide about 3 months ago. The lift was expensive at about $9,000 and the process took over 30 days but the results are outstanding! We love the lift, mother is now safe on the steps, and it is a small price to pay for total peace of mind. We considered using two of their straight stair lifts however mother would have had to transfer on the landing and we felt that could be an issue down the road. That solution would have cost us about $5,000 installed. Happy we decided on the more expensive solution however Ameriglide was the only company we contacted that provided us all the options and costs. We used Roger ** out of their Raleigh NC location and he is excellent.
