Have Been a customer for about 15 years...miserable to deal with...call reps, get told one thing, only to find a different thing happens...most recent insult was being sent crappy 16gb replacement phone with lots of Samsung bloatware after I ordered a 32 Gb LG...
Spent whole day being rudely treated by offshore personnel and nothing resolved...they ran out of the phone I ordered and just randomly made a new ticket for the piece of crap they sent me (even after removing garbage apps like solitaire left with too much unremovable bloatware)...
We pay $19 for 90 days of service, do not know how anyone would choose a $40 plan unless they had trash credit...maybe that's the problem...company used to deadbeats or something since they are just SO RUDE!

So I bought my phone in beginning of Dec. Here we are January and and not once did I ever use the device they never offered to replace the phone or never even gave me credit for paying for the service plan... But they sure did turn my service off on the 2 so I will never be using these guys again.

Have used Tracfone for 15 years, but as of this week I have to change to another carrier because after talking to numerous techs for 3 days, I still can't make or receive phone calls, I even activated a new phone, and every thing the techs advised me to do, NOTHING WORKS TO FIX the phone problems. So disappointed and frustrated.

I have tried multiple times to use a promo code to receive 500mb free data with 1gb data purchase. Each time it didn't work, a rep called Me back & I was on the phone for 35 -45 minutes trying to have them straighten this out.
I was told they've put it in my account manually. Each time I had to buy data. NEVER DID I RECEIVE THE FREE DATA!! This has been extremely frustrating! Being on the phone for so long & not having this amended is SO RIDICULOUS!!

Hello wru@? I'm missing my new replacement phones and eyeshot phone and tablet. The new ones haven't arrived in the mail yet. My sim card kits haven't come yet either.
Also, my sim cards keep getting shut off for no reason and I need the locations and phone number or ip address and time and date each time one of my sim cards was shut off and also to know what calls or texts or even emails that came through. Call me ** and as my email was bounced, it just sucks. ** Oh Mr, me owner. CEO. :-)

I have been using Tracfone for more than five years. I didn't have any problems. I am surprised that this article does not mention about installing WhatsApp (or some similar app) to make international (audio/video) calls - of course with others in the other end using the same app - via a Wifi connection. The best way to refill/replenish time/data is by way of a card widely available in various retailers.

I been with TracFone for many years, been with them since I had a cell phone and I will stay with them for many more years. It's the perfect company to be with and I will never go to a different company.
Tracfone is the best cell phone company around, l am pleased to be with them. Thanks for great service TracFone. Keep up the good work.

My experience with this phone is not good. They give you all explanation on how to unlock your Phone. If you forget the pin number. I have tried all solutions and it does not work. The next solution for me is to toss it in the garbage and sign up with a cell phone system that activate the phone.

I purchased a Tracfone in August, 2019 and activated the phone Sept 4. The Samsung phone is great, the service it not. I purchased the $20/month plan with unlimited talk and text with 1GB of rollover data. I had one day of service, then they shut it off. It took 2 hours on the phone to get it fixed. Then each month thereafter, even though I am on autopay and they take money out of my bank, they shut off the service. Each time it took an hour on the phone to get it restored.
On Nov 6, They shut service off again. I called to get it restored, which they did, but they wiped out all my data. As of 11/6, I have talk, text and data, but no MMS service. I am getting away from Tracfone and going back to my old carrier. Their customer service is extremely poor.
