What little good review they have are definitely from friends/family. Avoid this moving company at all costs, as they ARE A SCAM. Also, their service is terrible.

The guy I spoke with literally fought back with me when I called to complain. He had a - you signed the contract, too bad so sad, nothing you can do about it legally - tone. Now, that's a way to keep customers!

Take note that this moving company is a third party. They find and hire people to move your stuff for you. The actual movers are just given the job with minimal information.

We had Top Notch Movers. Sales rep gets you to sign the contract with verbal half-assed information. For example, we were told we will get our stuff within 8-14 days.

Based on this information we planned our baby to arrive to our new location a couple of days before 14 days (we were hopeful that the movers wouldn't take 14 days - THEY ACTUALLY TOOK LONGER).

When I called to talk about it, the guy said that it's 8-14 days from our availability date NOT FROM PICK-UP DATE.

When I complained that we were not told about the availability date portion, the guy simply said that it was in the contract. Who actually reads these... We were going off of what was told us verbally on the phone.

We were given an estimated quote of $5000 based on inventory. When the movers came, they charged us double of $10000 because they go by cubic feet of how much space your item, so that it doesn't cost $10000 or just pay up the new amount which is double what was originally estimated.

I didn't ask about this portion, but this is probably in their contract too. Movers finally show up several days later than expected - WITH A 18-WHEELER. There goes an additional $1500 for their inconvenience. We have to pay for a shuttle service.

SO SORRY WE TOLD YOU THAT A 18-WHEELER WILL NOT FIT OUR NEW PLACE AND YOU STILL SHOW UP WITH ONE AND HAVE TO GET PAID EXTRA MONEY IN YOUR POCKET. Guess what? This is also in their contract, but nothing that was verbally told. :)

SERIOUSLY SERIOUSLY SERIOUSLY take advice of all the bad reviews and STAY CLEAR from this 3rd party moving company. It is more work, but take time to find local movers to and from.

Unfortunately, we did not have this luxury because my husband had to move to his new job within 2 weeks (while we were both still working at our old jobs + baby).

That being said, we will be moving to a more permanent home within a year, and this sorry excuse of a moving company won't have us back. EVER.

Firstly, remember that Trinity is a broker, a middleman, not the actual moving company. Their first, initial price will only be a very low estimate.

Even after the coordinator calls and goes over every single piece being moved, it won't be anywhere near correct because then when the actual mover arrives, they'll say that it's not about what is being moved but is about the estimate of space. The difference for us was almost $3000 higher once the truck arrived.

Secondly, the person who initially signed us up at Trinity, Bill, was very accessible when he was trying to get our business, but then completely fell off the face of the Earth during the 72 hour period that we had to cancel without charge, when I reached out several times with questions.

I literally received no replies from emails or calls from Bill, during the 72 hour period that I had to cancel without charge. Not okay. Thirdly, when the coordinator called, his "over-estimate" was extremely low and as I mentioned previously, ended up being almost $3000 higher.

This move was for my elderly, veteran parent who was only taking personal items, a grandfather clock, a piano and one room of furniture. They brokered this move to a company called We Care For You, who only had 1 person show up for this move.

The driver literally packed up the items himself and then when it was time to move things into the truck, needed assistance from some of my family members for 2 of the heavier items. Let that sink in....

We actually had to help lift heavy items into the truck, after already paying so much more for the move. I called Trinity. They don't care and weren't helpful at all, not did they seem to want to hear from me, once they were done brokering the move.

Nothing was ever said to me as to how to handle any issues. In a nutshell, my advice from what I learned is to never use a brokerage company like this one.

They make money from just handing it off and then they're done. Also, their "after hours phone line" was always full and wouldn't receive anymore messages. Not okay.

William **, Jamestown SC #** 10/22/2021 Contacted Trinity moving and storage as one of many companies to move us from South Carolina to the Orlando area in Florida. Dylan ** was the sales agent and offered me a great price after my veterans discount. The total estimate was $5,260.84.

After send my deposit of $1821.33 the total cost would have been $3,439.51. I called to reduce the items needed to be shipped (Washer, Dryer, two work benches, metal cabinet, 2 ladders, metal shelving, garden tools, shop vac and 2 weed eaters.)

The list was updated by Bruce ** the senior estimator but the price did not change. I called again to find out how much I would need at pick up and was told $1,761.72. This would bring the total estimate to $1,677.79.

When the Truck arrived (not Trinity but a company called Star USA Moving LCC) I was handed a bill for $3,100. Driver said half now and half when delivered. That would have me pay at delivery another $3,100. That would bring the total price to $8,021.33.

I tried calling and emailing Trinity to get an explanation but as of this review I've heard nothing from them. I tried leaving a message after hours but the voice mailbox was full. Totally disappointed in this company's customer service and misquote.

I expected to pay a little over the estimate but not $2760.49 over the estimate. I would not recommend this company to anyone and I hope you read this before you choose them. I wish I had researched this company better than I did.

DO NOT USE!!! F rating with Better Business Bureau and they are not accredited by them. Unprofessional, charged incorrectly, have tried to contact numerous times with no success.

Was moving across states and everyone was nice over the phone and setting it up, then the day came. (Long story short) The driver kept calling me changing the pickup time, and continued to show up outside this window.

Tried to charge me for materials that I already paid for, had to call and dispute it. Told him I needed the furniture first and then can see what else I can put into my space. Asked me to go to the store to buy them water.

After 8 HOURS spent loading my small two bedroom apartment, calls me over and says, "I’ve met my limit" and they did not load my furniture in. I told him what I said at the beginning and he said that he has other loads to do.

Tried to convince me to have them drop it off early and I'll be charged for it because he wanted to go home. They continued to call and tell me they want to drop it off early, I continue to say no.

The drop off was fine, and those movers were able to put all my belongings in my quoted price. So the original mover charged me $2,000 over!!

Contacted customer service over phone, several emails, AND NOBODY HAS CONTACTED ME BACK!!! Contacted the Better Business Bureau and they aren’t accredited by them.

I've been close to tears all day. I booked TRG in May 2021 for a move from Minneapolis to Boston July 23rd to August 1st. We paid our deposit, picked up the cashier's checks for pick-up and delivery as instructed and confirmed our final pack list by email.

Then as the days grew closer to our pick-up, there was silence from TRG and when I called, no one picked up and no one returned my messages. Finally they told us today they cancelled us. No explanation except there just aren't enough trucks.

Some of you may recall the Seinfeld skit where he says, "See, you know how to Take a reservation, you just don't know how to Hold a reservation...and isn't that the Most Important Part!" We are now in a crisis, struggling to figure out how to safely get from here to there.

It is true in life that sometimes you cross paths with evil people. This company should not be allowed to ruin any other lives.

Stay away from this company if you don't want to be scammed. I was first given initial estimated cost for my moving of 4300 $, after I spend 15 min on the phone, explaining to one of their employees how many and what items exactly I need to be moved.

Next day I realized I have forgotten some items, and I took photos of everything, including the items described in our initial conversation. I asked for updated new estimated moving quote over a dozen times in the next few days.

On July 1, someone named Bruce ** finally sends me an email, in which he assures me, and I quote “The driver can adjust the estimate on pickup with minor changes.“

My emails and phone calls were either ignored, or I was told over the phone that someone will get back at me.

Someone from Trinity called me at 9:30 pm and told me the movers are coming next day, Wednesday, possibly in the morning, even though I was told I will be given a call that would give me time to prepare.

I asked for the pick up date to be moved to Thursday and I was told that will cost me 750 $. No movers showed up on Thursday or the following day, no explanation was ever given, no one tried to contact me to tell me what is going on.

On Saturday, the movers from Jet moving and storage finally showed up and the driver after looking at my items at home, gave me a new estimated quote of 11 222 $. He told me that he doesn’t have the refrigerator, the patio chairs and few more items on his list.

I showed him the email with the attached photos of all those items that I send on July 1. According to the initial estimated cost, my estimated cubic feet space was calculated at 360, but the driver said that would actually be over 1300 cubic feet.

How adding a few items that he did not have on his list and should have had can take up more than triple room in the truck? How is going from 4300 $ to 11222 $ a minor change?? Why all my voicemails and emails repeatedly asking for updated moving quote were ignored.

Well according to the electronic agreement you have to sign with Trinity relocation group, you lose your right for refund if you have to cancel 48 hours before the moving date.

So I was given absolutely intentionally unrealistic moving quote, with inaccurate numbers of how much cubic feet space my items would take in the mover’s truck.

In an email received on 11 of July, someone from Trinity relocation group customer service has the audacity of actually asking me “What is the difference? You would have paid for all of the additional items you had, whether you gave them to Bruce initially or the driver”.

This is so absurd and that I am lost for words. Trinity employees deliberately did not update their estimated moving cost so I can miss the time frame to ask for a refund according to their electronic agreement.

I would avoid this company like the plague. I nearly had a disaster on my hands when I could not get an exact moving date and learned they used a broker. I quickly picked another company who could give me a firm date. He even said the furniture may even be in that day (my father was going to an assisted living place 69 miles away). When I wanted a partial refund, they promised me the world. I cancelled and happy I did! This could have been a huge disaster.

I want to share my most horrible moving experience with Trinity and the fact they do business with Unique Van Lines (Unique is rated D- on BBB). Jeff from Trinity sales mentioned to my husband multiple times throughout the process that Trinity stays away from brokers only to find out later that Trinity acted as a broker in our case.

They also jumped the price up significantly during QA check when we added 10 boxes and few pantry items as they knew that canceling the job would make us lose our deposit. TRG gave out our job to a failed carrier “Unique Van Lines”.

After approximately 2.5 months of delays, excuses, lies, regular follow up calls, we finally received our stuff this week to find out most of the fragile items were broken and our living room TV was MISSING in addition to few other items (patio cushions, décor, fan, glass set, rice cooker).

When we confronted the movers, they said you have standard insurance and you packed the boxes, so I am not responsible (does that mean you are obliged to mishandle customer stuff in front of them?). When the driver and his guys arrived, we could hear them dropping a box while unloading and saying, “I am dropping bombs and laughing about it”.

They promised to assemble everything back, but they left most of the items disassembled including beds. For missing items, they told us we have to file a claim. The driver started yelling when we asked him to "I am not going to change my paperwork and I don’t care that you are missing a TV or any other items, you have to file a claim".

Filing a claim should come after the carrier has not been able to locate an item- in this case, they were not even willing to look up for the missing items or document it and just brushed the claim point as it’s standard insurance so the customer will get peanuts in return.

As per the contract, they are supposed to document any items which are missing or damaged. HE VIOLATED THE CONTRACT. They were disrespectful ran away leaving the stuff in chaos with no respect.

When I called their dispatch manager Elfie and asked about the TV, he said, if you stay on the call “I am going to hang the TV on my damn wall” and was rude to me. We are still waiting for a call back which we were promised. I'm surprised Trinity chooses to do business with a company like that. Their customer service is full of lies, their drivers are rude to customers and top of that all they exercise false business practices.

I request everyone to make sure that your brokers (Trinity Relocation Group in my case) do not pick UNIQUE VAN LINES. We are still following up on my items with no success as we really want our TV to be found and shipped to us.

I hold Trinity EQUALLY responsible for this traumatic experience because they are the ones who hired a failed carrier and acted as surprised when we confronted them of our experience.

We had an excellent experience with Trinity Moving Group and the movers they sent us. They were very professional and accommodating to our needs. The crew of movers was always polite and took the time to answer questions and explain what they were doing. Our stuff was very well cared for. Their price was cheaper than any of the other companies I reached out to. If you need a moving company don’t waste time getting a bunch of quotes just call Trinity. We don’t plan on moving again but if we do we’re calling Trinity.

This review is for the moving services provided to us by Trinity Relocation Group. My daughter hired them for my wife and I to help us move from our previous home to a home near her. We had always wanted to live near our kids once we retired and Trinity helped us make that possible. They were courteous, flexible, and hardworking. They moved all of our furniture carefully and listened to where we wanted it to go. I doubt we will be moving again but if we did I would use Trinity.

When I give this company 5 stars I truly mean it. My family and I researched a great number of companies but kept coming back to Trinity Relocation Group because of their straightforward pricing and wonderful customer service. We booked them about 3 weeks before our move. In that time my wife in particular had many questions but they never hesitated to help her. Our experience with their movers was very positive. Everything was handled for us and we didn’t have anything at all to worry about. I would both hire them again and refer them.

This company is defrauding senior customers by breaching contract price terms and not delivering shipments. The ratings on this time is misleading. Stay away from this company and its subcontractors and are uninsured. Company has proven to display no respect for customers, contract agreements, accounting rules, and accountability for the safety of transported goods and your movers are completely random individuals that hassle customers for money, cannot tell a cohesive story of the status of shipments and falsify facts.

I had a terrible experience with Trinity Relocation because they lied from the start to get my money. The salesman Brian assured me I was hiring Trinity to move my 3 bedroom home from Billings, Montana to Flagstaff, Arizona. He didn't reveal that Trinity was charging me $1500.00 to hire another low life mover called Virgin out of California. Brian told me I would have 4 people who would load the truck.

Moving day came and only 2 movers showed up in a crappy truck covered in graffiti that did not even have a ramp and leaked a puddle of oil in my driveway. The movers worked hard but were extremely slow and it took them 9 hours to load the truck when it really should have taken 3 hours with a crew of 4 people like I had paid for.

When I asked the truck driver where the other 2 movers were he told me they had posted a help wanted ad in Craig's list but nobody replied. Like I believe that. The mover also refused to provide me with receipts and the contract paperwork. That's after I handed over thousands of dollars in cash to pay for that part of the move. When I contacted Trinity to complain the so called customer service rep named Tracy was so very rude and combative that I felt like I deserved a complete refund. When I asked to speak to Tracy's supervisor I was told nobody could help me. Trinity misrepresented their services as a professional moving company. Really they are a bunch of scam artists that could care less that they hired some fly by night movers with bad reviews who threatened to charge more for delivery of my belongings...basically holding everything I own and worked hard for my entire life hostage in some storage unit who knows where.

Trinity did not lift a finger to help me when I told them Virgin movers could not find my payments through digital transfers from my bank account to theirs.. Still NO receipts after I requested them on numerous occasions. I still have no receipts of any kind. I did finally get my stuff after a month of irate phone calls emails and texts. I am not at all happy with Trinity or Virgin. Pick a different company and save yourself the stress that these firms will put you through. Both companies should lose their licenses and should be run out of business. They are not reputable firms.

I had a terrible experience and plan to file complaints against Trinity and Virgin movers with the federal transportation department and Better Business Bureau and local authorities in Florida where Trinity hides out and Caifornia where Virgin bases its scam activities.
