About Miracle-Ear Hearing Aids

Miracle-Ear is one of the oldest and best-known direct-to-consumer hearing aid brands currently on the market. The company develops its hearing aid technology with evolving features that set Miracle-Ear products apart from many of its peers. Their hearing aid technology includes GENIUS noise reduction and speech recognition. Miracle-Ear hearing aids are priced anywhere from around $1,000 to $5,000.

Miracle-Ear began in 1948 with a single hearing aid created by Dahlberg Electronics. In the early 1950s, the company incorporated then-new transistor technology into its hearing aid product, and by the early 2000s, all of the brand’s products were digitally based. The company has continued to innovate new technologies to improve hearing aid function, developing proprietary Speech Isolation, new digital noise reduction capabilities and integrated smartphone app functionality.

Currently owned by the Amplifon family of companies based in Plymouth, Minnesota, Miracle-Ear is now a worldwide company. Its extensive network of local stores throughout the country offer hearing tests, hearing aid fitting and service help to set them apart from other direct-to-consumer companies with no local presence or way to shop for hearing assistance devices in store.

Instead of selling purely by mail-order or over the internet, Miracle-Ear has brick and mortar store locations in all 50 states to provide in-person service from certified representatives. The company also runs the Miracle-Ear Foundation, supplying free hearing aids to adults and children without the financial means, insurance or government support to otherwise acquire a hearing aid device.

  • Wide range of hearing aid products, customizable options
  • Lifetime customer service
  • In-person fitting and customization
  • Foundation to help those in financial need

Miracle-Ear Hearing Aid Technology

All hearing aids consist of three basic parts: a microphone, an amplifier and a speaker, which is sometimes called the receiver. The microphone takes in sound, the amplifier makes the sound louder and the speaker plays the sound into the ear. Beyond the basics, Miracle-Ear’s proprietary technologies help make its hearing aids and hearing assistive devices appealing to modern wearers. For example, its GENIUS™ noise reduction and directional programming and speech recognition technology, which recognizes and gives preference to speech sounds and filters the rest for a better understanding of conversations. Miracle-Ear also offers smartphone apps to manage your hearing aid without having to carry a separate remote control device.

Miracle-Ear hearing aids come in several styles, including receiver-in-the-ear canal (RIC) and behind-the-ear (BTE) options. These aids have a similar look, with a small battery pack worn behind the ear and a wire attached to the small receiver inside the ear canal. However, there are differences in the receiver location and how it works.

Miracle-Ear also carries more discreet and often custom-fit styles, such as completely-in-canal (CIC) hearing aids, which fit into the ear canal and do not have external packs behind the ear. In-the-ear (ITE) hearing aids also fit inside the ear but have larger casings and do not go as deep into the ear canal. Miracle-Ear also offers tiny, self-contained invisible-in-canal (IIC) hearing aids designed to go unnoticed when worn.

Miracle-Ear Hearing Aid Cost

Miracle-Ear doesn’t list the price of its hearing aid products on their website. Miracle-Ear says its products can run between $1,000 and $5,000 and according to the AARP, the average cost in the United States for a single hearing aid is approximately $2,300. It’s important to note, hearing aid cost will vary depending on your specific hearing needs, type of hearing aid and the technology included in the hearing aid. After doing some online research, we discovered customers paid within the following price ranges for hearing aids, including Miracle-Ear products.

  • Behind-the-ear (BTE) hearing aid: $1,000-$5,600
  • In-the-canal (ITC) hearing aid: $450 (basic technology)-$5,600 (advanced technology)
  • Completely-in-the-canal (CIC) hearing aid: $150 (basic)-$5,000 (advanced technology)

Miracle-Ear Products

Miracle-Ear offers six different hearing aid products plus custom-fit devices in several styles.

  • The GENIUS™ 3.0 RIC is a leading receiver in canal device. It comes in eight colors and offers two case designs with different battery options. Like most Miracle-Ear products, it includes Bluetooth connectivity and can be controlled through the Miracle-Ear smartphone app, along with the technology to adjust for tinnitus, noise reduction and feedback cancellation.
  • The Rechargeable LI RIC is the rechargeable version of the GENIUS 3.0 RIC and comes with a built-in lithium-ion power cell that provides up to 24 hours of use per charge.
  • The Mini RIC stands out for its compact size. It has the same remote control features through the Miracle-Ear app as other products, as well as speech isolation and wind noise reduction.
  • The ReadyFit CIC, an entirely in-canal device that does not have to be custom fit. It is flexibly designed to fit the majority of users comfortably without the need for custom work. It uses Miracle-Ear’s proprietary SingleMic™ sound collection technology and can connect via Bluetooth to the Miracle-Ear smartphone app.
  • The Miracle-Ear Mirage™ IIC is an ultra-compact hearing device within the invisible in canal category, providing the most privacy for those who do not want anyone to know they use a hearing aid.
  • Miracle-Ear distinguishes itself from competitors by offering custom hearing aids. The CIC, ITC and ITE devices are customizable, available in five skin-tone colors and include the same innovative technology and app connectivity as other Miracle-Ear products. Custom devices are fit to your needs and specifications through local Miracle-Ear stores.

Miracle-Ear FAQs

How do I know if I need a Miracle-Ear hearing aid?

As part of your first visit to Miracle-Ear, a hearing test is done to help determine what you might need. Come prepared with your health history and expect an inspection of your ear canal, along with evaluations of your hearing and ability to understand speech in a variety of environments. If you do need a device, Miracle-Ear will test an assortment of hearing aid types to see what works for you. The company even has a free online hearing test and a free downloadable hearing loss guide to help you get started.

Does Miracle-Ear accept Medicare?

No, Medicare does not cover any hearing aids and only covers hearing tests for specific diagnostic purposes. However, while it’s uncommon to find hearing aid coverage in Medicare supplement and Medicare Advantage plans, some plans do offer limited hearing aid benefits. It is worth checking with your plan’s hearing aid policy and how to submit a claim yourself.

Are Miracle-Ear salespeople doctors?

No, Miracle-Ear store staff are not doctors but are trained and certified by Miracle-Ear, with annual recertification. The company’s hearing care professionals must also maintain any required state licensing.

Can I get Miracle-Ear hearing aids through my doctor?

No, Miracle-Ear sells directly to the consumer. They have a network of stores across the country staffed by hearing professionals for those who need customization service or prefer to shop in person. The centers also offer hearing tests.

Are there any discounts available?

Miracle-Ear works through the Miracle-Ear Foundation to provide hearing aids to those in need without any other way of paying for a hearing aid. To find more information and learn about eligibility, you can visit the Miracle-Ear Foundation website.

I am not on Medicare. Will my insurance cover the cost of hearing aids?

The majority of health insurance plans do not cover hearing aids, or coverage is limited depending on the reason for needing hearing aids or coverage amount. A few plans cover hearing aids in limited amounts, such as up to $1,000 towards the devices on some plans. In the case of children who need hearing aids, 20 states mandate that health insurance plans cover hearing aids for children in some way.

What Does Miracle-Ear’s Lifetime Service Include?

With its long history, expansive store network and hearing aid technology, Miracle-Ear is a top contender in terms of quality and support. While it isn’t our #1 pick for hearing aid companies, it is a good choice. Our favorite part about the company is its commitment to serving the hearing impaired community through the Miracle-Ear Foundation, which provides hearing aids at a low cost or no cost. Overall, Miracle-Ear’s lifetime services, including free hearing tests and regular cleaning and adjustments, are good value and may reduce costs compared to companies that sell additional warranties or service plans for an extra cost.

I have had Miracle Ear hearing aides for over 13 years with four upgrades to newer models. I have been extremely happy with them. Although it started roughly in Norwalk with no set personnel, I eventually moved to NAUGATUCK and found Adriene in Waterbury. She is the BEST. Extremely helpful and personal. Always there to help And is a permanent fixture in that office which I love for the first time in all the years I have had the product.

I would recommend to anyone with the footnote that it will take about 3-4 months of those adjustments to get it right. I kept notes each time I returned to discuss changes and concerns and all went well. THANKS Adriene for representing your company office with such personal service.

Miracle Ear Company may be a great company, but each franchise may not be doing business correctly. After a simple request about the monthly payment amounts, my same as cash contract was changed to interest bearing without my knowledge or consent. After 10 months, with my attorney’s help, I finally was paid back the interest I shouldn’t have had to pay. The franchise owner wrote, “we are not in agreement that we owe you this.” Funny.

On a previous phone call, she said, “I don’t want to get involved.” But it was her signature on the new interest bearing contract. Also, I always have to call a day ahead for a checkup appointment because they don’t keep their posted hours. Phone calls are not returned, either, if I leave a message. Plus, after some research, I found I overpaid greatly.

They cost me over 5 thousand dollars, with free replacements if lost or broken. I left then a cabin I was staying at in Tn. When I called the cabin owner they said they didn’t see any, so I called to get my replacement and was told, "I’m sorry but we can sale you new ones." I told them, "no thank you. I believe I can get them cheaper ones elsewhere." I bought hearing aids a a fraction of the cost that worked just as good as theirs.

They worked with me so that I could get my hearing aids fine tuned so that I could hear like I use to. I was very impressed with the Miracle Ear hearing aids. I CAN HEAR. For 5 years I couldn't and I was talking very loud to hear myself and people thought I was hollering at them. My family had to holler and TV was on 36 and hurting my wife's ears. The people were very professional and courteous. Thank you.

I’m a 70 year old male with terrible hearing, that is until I met Jordan ** at Miracle-Ear. I had tried a couple of hearing aid companies over the past years with very poor results. A friend recommended Miracle-Ear, I thought I might try one last time, and am so glad I did. I had no idea what I had been missing, to hear the raindrops or the wind rustling through the trees, sounds I haven’t heard since I was a young man.

I’m on my second pair in 5 years, only because there was an upgrade and I wanted the best. Miracle-Ear has a fantastic product, but what really sold me was my interactions with Jordan ** (Board Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist), along with his calm demeanor and assurity of knowledge, he put all my questions and fears to rest. By the time I walked out the door, I not only could hear but had a new friend.

I have had very good luck with the Florence Oregon Miracle Ear office. First with Terry & assistant, now with Ben & Pam. Ben listened to me made adjustments to aids didn't pressure me to buy more expensive aids. Pam was very helpful with cleaning aids, new rubber tips for better fit. Will continue to do business with M.E. in Florence.

After reading the reviews and receiving what seems like never ending phone calls to purchase I decided to not purchase Miracle-Ear. Found that a major competitor offers 6 month trial with loss and theft protection for 3 years and a 3 year warranty as well as a major brand for one third or less than the cost of Miracle-Ear.

The company is ok, but my quality of hearing is awful. I have been back several times to have something changed or whatever to rectify my problems. Nothing helps. It has been suggested that I get a quality sound bar. Duh, I bought an $8, 000 Miracle-Ear, why should I have to buy a quality or should I say a top of the line sound bar??????? The adjustments made when I go into office are to listen to him tear papers. A very disappointed, dissatisfied fixed income senior citizen. Help me, what can I do??? I have had these hearing aids for about 3yrs.

I have had amazing service and follow up with Miracle Ear!! The continued interest in me as a patient and the timely appointments & adjustments are far superior to anything I’ve experienced from other companies. Naples has a nationally certified/licensed audiologist, Tamara, who is amazing! And the receptionist, Stephanie, is like a beautiful best friend!! Perfect experiences every time!!

Darren ** & Ottilia at the front desk- took such good care of my mom. They were patient, so very helpful. She'll be turning 90 next month, & they assessed her perfectly & put an excellent plan of care into action.

My 93-year old mother worked with Duane ** for fitting and adjustment of hearing aids and we could not have been more satisfied with his service. Multiple visits were required due to my mother’s age and condition. Duane’s guidance, instruction and patience were exemplary, and I am very appreciative of my experience with him. I would highly recommend Duane from start to finish.

Coinciding with hearing loss that I had suffered with for several years and deciding to take action; I received a mailer from Miracle-Ear, offering and encouraging me to take advantage of a free hearing test in my area. I accepted their offer and made an appointment at the Miracle-Ear office in Ellis Cty Texas.

I arrived for my hearing test at the scheduled time; the care and attention I received was outstanding! Having been in the "service business" for decades, I have come to easily recognize and appreciate good service. The Miracle-Ear people who greeted me made me feel like I was their only customer; they were kind, courteous and professional.

The testing process they had developed was comprehensive and thorough and I learned some very interesting facts I had not been aware of. At the conclusion of my hearing test we discussed my status. Besides confirming that I was virtually deaf; in simple "lay man" terms they explained to me the nature of my deficiencies and assured me that they were had the necessary technology to change all that and they did!!

The next step was to make my purchase; it then became readily evident that I was as financially challenged as I was hearing challenged. I left that day without hearing aids but feeling good about my options. The following day I got a phone call informing me that Miracle-Ear had a financial assistance program they thought I might qualify for and to please return to their office to fill out and file the necessary paperwork for this program.

I have had my hearing aids for three weeks now and I love them! It truly is a whole new world for me; I can hear!! The hearing aids I have don't just amplify sound; they are designed for and have easy adjustments (that I can make no appointment necessary) for various environments, that are normal in every day life.

Miracle-Ear came through for me and way above and beyond standard business practice. I cannot praise nor recommend Miracle-Ear highly enough for what they have done for me! Many people are comparison shoppers which is simply smart but please include Miracle-Ear in your process. I could not be more pleased nor feel so well served, I am confident you will enjoy the same experience. David ** TX

I went in get a hearing test. They said I need hearing aids. They offered to let me try some telling me they offered a 100 satisfaction guarantee, if not completely happy could return them at any time. So, agreed but I had to sign an agreement which said that guarantee was for only 30 days but they assured me they stood behind their products and would return them at anytime.

They had me return each week for adjusting, for the first 3 weeks and at that point I told them I wasn’t pleased with them. They told me it might take months to get it right. I ask about the 30 day money back guarantee? They assure me they wanted happy customers and returning then wouldn’t be an issue. Then scheduled my next appointment for after the 30 period.

When I returned, still not pleased and asked to return them they said they would schedule one of their ear doctors for further evaluation, again assuring they only wanted what as best for me. Well, after the doctors evaluation. He told me my hearing condition was such that I had a good chance of correcting my hearing with surgery. So, I told them I wanted to try the surgery and would like to return the hearing aids. They said get the surgery and if it works then return them. I had the surgery and it was a success. So, contacted them and they set up an appointment.

When I went, a “corporate “ guy was there to meet with me. He pulled out all my paperwork and informed me I signed a legal binding contract. And they had no intentions of letting me out of it. And part of the contract said I couldn’t sue if unhappy for any reason. Realizing he was probably right and how I had been scammed, I said I had no use for the hearing aids would they at least buy them back for half the cost or something. He gave me a bunch of BS why he personally couldn’t make any promises but would check with Corporate.

After numerous requests they ultimately just said no. So, I was out over $7000.

Had to get their credit and paid off the aids. I ensured them. My dog eat them, I went to file a claim. The hearing aids were in pieces. The replacement was going to be almost 900.00 per aid. Ridiculous considering that over 5000.00 was paid on the original set. The people were very nice in the office. Not their fault. But the prices are outrageous. These are my husbands hearing aids. He refuses to pay that price. So back to not hearing.

We received an ad for free hearing aid tests. My husband had no problems, but I have hearing loss due to a nerve problem. I paid over $7000! I had to continually go back to get it adjusted because they would not stay in. The last time I went I thought surely this will fix it, my trial period was almost up, but no they just wouldn’t stay in! I have tinnitus and they set up my Android so I could get Tinnitis masking. I had ocean waves and I got so sick of hearing those! The technician was fantastic, had great personality and tried to help, but when I lost one while out shopping, he called the owner and said I would have to pay 25% to get another one! After already paying over $7000, I don’t think so! So here I am stuck with one hearing aid and a huge bill! They should be held accountable for doing this to seniors OR ANYONE ELSE!

I’ve had other hearing aids in the past but the Miracle Hearing aid surpasses them all with ease of use and the ability to hear clearer and better by being able to select different noise environments. The prices you list for Miracle Ear are several thousand dollars below what they cost. They sell for from $ 6,000 to $ 9000. Usually there are sales tho. I tried a lower priced (and on sale) model. I had all sorts of problems with it thru out my trial. Some of it I understood was just getting used to it.

But these problems were pretty rough. Your voice sound VERY loud and weird. But some were problems with feedback and buzz/whistle. I had several adjustments then tried it on a trip and it buzzed and was annoying through out. Useless. I took it back well within my trial period and did get a refund minus a $100 which I knew was part of the deal.

I did have less than a great experience with the person doing the fitting. They aren't audiologists at Miracle Ear but trained technicians. This a personality thing. You are given I believe 3 years of unlimited appointments for adjustments or whatever. This is given as a selling point. An ear/nose/throat doc I went to said his office could do much better and for less. I wouldn't be paying for the extensive tv advertising or unecessary "free" appointments.

When I see all those ads now on tv how people perk up and rave over clear and perfect hearing I know that's baloney.

Having finished perusing today’s mail, I was reminded that I need to/want to/am delighted to write a review for Miracle Ear and, at the same time, honorably mention Audibel and DIShonorably mention Christie Clinic. Included in today’s mail was a flyer from Audibel offering impressive, believable reviews.

I was prompted to mention Audibel in this testimonial because of the mailer and, mostly, due to a recent conversation with a friend who has been a satisfied Audibel-wearer for many years. My mother purchased her first pair of hearing aids from Christie Clinic a couple of years ago. Unfortunately, she was unhappy with the product and the technician.

Following are examples that support her dissatisfaction: 1. The price was higher than most sellers’. 2. She was never properly “trained” on how to use the hearing aids. 3. Her hearing was not improved enough to warrant spending the high price. 4. The technician did not listen to my mother.

From the beginning, Mother told her that she was getting very little (if any) sound from the left aid. On my mother’s final evaluation, the tech mentioned that her left hearing aid was weaker than the right one. Really? It’s interesting that this discovery was made after the warranty expired. THE POST OFFICE AND MIRACLE EAR TO THE RESCUE!

This time, it’s my mother who received the advertisement (from Miracle Ear) in the mail. Due to her experience with Christie Clinic, she was hesitant to believe the ad. I offered to accompany her, so we could check it out. AARON ** is Amazing, Bright, Caring, Determined, Efficient, Funny ... I could go through the whole alphabet. One of his most impressive characteristics is his ability to listen and then act.

My mother explained what she expected from hearing aids and, after a hearing test, Aaron assured her that he felt Miracle Ear was the correct answer to improving her hearing. ... And he was right!

THERE’S MORE: Our appointment with Aaron was pleasant and he was not pushy. In fact, it was obvious that, above all, his primary goal is to help people. When I asked Aaron if Mother would receive a discount for referrals, he made a generous offer … Noticing that I had been using the following terms a lot lately: “huh?, what?, excuse me, say that again, I beg your pardon,” I thought it might be time to have my hearing examined. EVERYBODY’S HAPPY! Aaron must be happy because he sold two sets of hearing aids, instead of one.

We (Mom and I) are happy with our new hearing volume. Hopefully, people with hearing difficulties will read this and visit Aaron Hobbs at Miracle Ear and find happiness, too! ICING ON THE CAKE! When you walk in the door, there she sits— Alisa! She is friendly, considerate, caring, knowledgeable, concerned, and ever so helpful.

My 2 star rating is based on the product. Folks at the location I go to are very cordial and want to help. However, the product is actually less than desirable. It seems that something is always going wrong with one or the other hearing aid, on a continuing basis. As I write this, I am waiting on an appointment that when set was two weeks away, for problems with the right ear. As of today, I have cut the left ear OFF due to constant static. Good luck understanding anything I hear for the next week and a half. And they cost how many 1,000s of dollars. But then why be upset. As I have already stated, there is always something going wrong.

I like the others that had a bad experience, cost me $300.00 restocking fees for hearing aids that didn't work. I was treated like I didn't know what I was talking about. The hearing aids had a tinny sound and didn't even work the day after I got them. After 4 weeks of bs they said I had to give them a chance to replace them. They came back with a message that they had been corrupted. Their way of saying they were broken from the first. But I was treated like I must have been making it up. They replaced the inside, however they still worked the same. All tinny and crackling. I was told I didn't give them long enough to fix them. I don't have that much time to play their game. So I had to lose $300.00 to restock faulty hearing aids. For $4,500.00 they should work. I should not have to pay for them to throw away faulty merchandise. Stay away from this place, they are not a miracle.

I have never experienced so much stress! I paid $5500. I felt at ease knowing I had a 45 day trial period and if I wasn’t happy I could get a full refund. Well no, I wasn’t happy. They whistled, buzzed, made my voice sound robotic when I heard it etc. I took them back after two adjustments and was told by refund request couldn’t be honored. I said, "WHAT? I’m within my 45 day trial." Bottom line my salesman offered me a different type to try which felt like ear plugs! I didn’t want them! I made sure to get in there on the 44th day and tell them that I didn’t want them and I want a refund. I was told it had to be approved by corporate! Again, WHAT?? WHY?? I’m within my 45 day trial period. Believe me, I wasn’t leaving there without my refund receipt! I got my full refund and my $25 See’s Candy gift card (which I asked for). I was extremely relieved to get out from under that company and their contract. I still thank my lucky stars that I didn’t succumb to their subtle, not so subtle strong arm tactics! I can breathe and relax again!

The Genius 3 Miracle Ear with blue tooth connection is great. Alena in the Westlake Village CA location is so helpful and patient! They make a huge difference watching movies, TV, Live Theater and you can have them hooked to your Bluetooth in your car so always hands free!!! Alena at this office really knows how to make you comfortable wearing them. I’m using them with batteries and it’s very easy changing batteries once a week! I LOVE my Miracle Ear hearing aids and they are worth the high price because they make a big difference in my life! Shirley ** ( thanks Alena) May 2019

Went to Miracle Ear in The Villages Florida for hearing test. Beth was the sales person and told me yes I need hearing aids. Brought out the most expensive and fitted me. Had another follow-up appointment a week later. Another one a week later. Each time I complained about they hurt. She kept making reappointments, said they would give me a 3 day extension on the money back guarantee and then made an appointment for the next week. 3 days had already expired. Have had continuing problems since December of 2018. Still don't have ear hearing aids that fit or work. They will not give you your money back. They overcharged seniors who just want to hear. No one will even talk to you about the dishonest practices. I think they should be brought before the senior abuse program in the United States.

They gave me an ear test. Then show and put the hearing aid in my ear, It was wonderful. Then told me it would cost 2300.00. I was told they had to run my credit, which was being worked on by a company to lower and clean it up. I didnt want an inquiry on it. So I ask if I could pay monthly. I was told no they would have to finance it. I'm in need of one for my left ear facing the doctor and my right. This company is out to make fast money on the spot. It's not about the customer or a person who is willing to pay monthly while on hold and then pay it off. I am today still trying to find a hearing aid to help me in hearing. It's so Sad. I work a fulltime job and receive social security and have medical insurance. It's not right.

They cannot keep their appointments. Always canceling on you. Have no stability on a person to work in Gilroy Ca. Hearing aids are overpriced and do not work. Darrell who's in charge of co. does not return phone calls at all. They make you go out of your way to different towns and no shows as well. Guess it's small claims court.

Just received the hearing aids. A big difference already and my first visit is coming up. Luckily my health insurance paid the majority of the cost. Great customer service, friendly and did not act like used car salesman. Cant wait for the fine tuning to really see how well they improve my hearing. Definitely would recommend this location.

WARNING! Do not ever go to any of this place. You will regret the rest of your life. Their equipments are highly way too overpriced and not worth an investment to your health. I tried to return mine and this place will not honor my concern and forced me to believe I need it when I don’t. Help yourself by going somewhere else but this place - trust me you don’t want to be a victim of this kind of business.

It’s been an excellent experience working with Miracle ear. Mike ** is a knowledgeable and pleasant representative of the care you get with miracle ear. Mike and his staff create an environment that is both pleasant and efficient. My life is better with my hearing aids. Before Miracle-Ear I only heard half of the family conversations. If I need help with my hearing aids I feel confident that Mike or Jacqueline will be there to answer my questions. I highly recommend Miracle-Ear.

Hearing aids might be good but it's a scam to lure you in. They reccommend which 1 is best then send you price incentives to make it look like your getting a deal but when you go in the price incentive is for bottom of line aid. They say get that 1 then if not right work your way up just to make more money off you. Guarantee is not as described as a 30 day money back. You have to finance it pay for them first and they offer a full refund. Scam. If their not right and you return them for a refund they deduct 150 or more per ear for services rendered that they dont tell not when they offer the warranty. So in the end you don't get a Full refund instead get screwed. Customer Service is very poor, unprofessional, incompetent, and dishonest. Think twice or more before going there. It's all about a price scam. They care about money not you!

Moria ** and Tina were fantastic. They were very knowledgeable about the job. Explained things to me in terms that I could understand. Showed me things that I didn’t know. Really helped me to hear better I am so pleased and happy. I have a brain tumor and have had a lot of radiation in through my ears I didn’t think there was anything they could do for me. But wow what a difference they had made. I have a follow-up appointment that I am actually looking forward to. Thank you for everything. Rainee!

I received a postcard offering free hearing test. I was seeing by two people one does the speech the other the testing. I was fine until they brought out their contract to purchase a very expensive hearing aid. I went to them due to a ringing left ear. I was so glad l left without purchasing hearing aids. I feel this company has no choices for consumers except the very expensive product they offer. I left without the gift card they offer to get you in the door. I guess you don’t buy, you don’t get. This company is very intimidating. Go somewhere else. Yes they are not doctors.

First of all I would like to thank Justin ** and Maureen for all their help and truly providing me with a miracle. They were open and honest about what to expect. I believe your auditory journey is what you make of it after you receive your hearing aids. For me Miracle ear was the only place that provided a hearing device that actually worked. I am truly grateful for work and assistance that was provided. Definitely looking forward to upgrading in about 4-6 months! :) Don't let the bad reviews posted fool you. Every location is not the same.

This place is a scam, they are very nice smooth talking helping you hear then slap that high price on you. Well you want to hear so bad it’s like well if it helps me hear, but no they stay in the shop more than my ears! I will tell everyone do not pay this kind of money for these hearing aids! 4700.00 I am 70 yrs old and had to get a second job to pay for them.. I think it ought to be against the law to charge this much money for something so little! Please do not buy Miracle-Ear!

Do not patronize Miracle Ear!!! Besides offering obsolete technology hearing aids, they conduct dishonest and misleading business practices. They refused to honor their promotion of a “no hassle” 30 day free trial. We are still fighting with them over a $7000 pair of hearing aids that a second opinion said we did not even need. Total scam! Stay away!

This office visit was/is a bad way to do business. They had me sign a contract just to get the hearing aid into the office from the factory. I did not know they would charge me, even after I had a serious family emergency and talked to the man about it. He would not listen and said it was too bad. They charged me $5000 plus a restocking fee. I worked hard and long with the operations manager from Miracle Ear and after talking with the Health plan they charged me still another $500 plus. Which I believe is a scam procedure to get money from me a Senior on limited Income. Go somewhere else.

Believe me never deal with these people cause they lie to your face. Can’t take their word. Worst cons I ever dealt with. Theirs will screw anyone they can and as much as they can. Bring your own tape recorder to catch them and get a good lawyer. These people should be in jail.

I was told by my audiologist that I am a candidate for hearing devices. The prices I was quoted was from as low as $699.00 per device for refurbished up to $2000.00 -$4500.00 for new ones. I have looked online hearing aids for a company who offered buy one and get one free. But, they wrote that you did not need a hearing test, or evaluation, also stated the devices would automatically adjust to your situation... this was a red flag to me and my audiologist. I kept looking and researching and found Miracle Ear in Cedar City. I made an appointment with Mr. D. ** and so glad I did. I was given a hearing evaluation and test via different frequencies and spoken words. Again, I was a candidate for hearing devices.

I asked about Veteran discount and A.A.R.P. and they did both. I got two hearing aids for about $1600.00+ off the regular price. I also signed up for the battery club. He programmed them, set the technology for various hearing situations. Now, I can hear everything from birds, my cat, even the most quiet sounds 100% better. I am so glad I went to Miracle Ear. I got love the Genius 5300 RIC they have duel microphones and I can adjust volume and situations from "universal, noise background, and TV and movies and NO feedback squeal. I have been wearing them 10-12 hours a day for over a week and the batteries have not been changed yet. Mr. ** told me the devices will play a musical sound when the batteries are ready to be changed... They are hardly noticeable and I would recommend them for sure.

Scam!! Beware, they take advantage of elderly people. My 90 year old father was lured in with an ad boasting an affordable price. He was told those types were for 'children' and wouldn't work for him. He ended up paying over 14,000$ YES... 14 thousand dollars for hearing aids for himself and his wife. The devices they sold him were not even necessary for his lifestyle. They told him he had 45 days to return them but when he called about returning them was told they would deduct 10%. He was never informed of that!! Complete rip-off!!

Waste of Time & Money. Father-in-Law paid 4,500.00 for mine on sale. Never worked right. Eat batteries. When I moved the close by vendor just took them to back room and gave them back. Junk, still did not work. When contacted they told me to bring them back to where they were purchased at. Apparently these stores are franchised. The 20.00 dollar one as seen on T.V. at Walgreens works MUCH better.

It is sad that this company would take advantage of a 91 year old woman. My mother. Their contract says that you may bring the hearing aids back within 30 days. There could be nothing further from the truth!! My Mother brought an advertisement in for hearing aids starting at $550.00. She left paying $5,500. Less than a month later she realized she had made a mistake and attempted to return them. First, they told her there was nothing they could do until "she spoke to her boss" who was not available. They told her to come back in a week. Understand, my mother doesn't drive, and gets around using a walker. She made an appointment for the following week, returned and was told "none" of her money would be refunded. It was very clear they don't stand behind their advertising or their contracts or their words. CUSTOMER BEWARE !!!

My regular associates and all family members, except for one young grandson, are loud talkers and it didn't occur to me that my hearing was really bad until I noticed that I was the only one regularly asking my grandson to repeat everything said to me. I remembered seeing a "Miracle Ear" TV advertisement, so I checked their reviews as well as those for the competition. I'm very glad that I chose Turnersville Miracle-Ear, where I was placed with Sherry **, who I would happily recommend as someone who works with you until your hearing aid is fine tuned to complete satisfaction. "Miracle-Ear" may seem a little pricey compared to the competition, but I tend to agree with the saying "you get what you pay for," especially when applied to your lifetime hearing.

I want to commend the audiologist, Jeffrey, at the Miracle-ear location in Spokane located on Division near Northtown. His very professional manner, friendliness and service oriented demeanor is the very best I have ever encountered in my many years of dealing with service-oriented establishments. I would award him a five star plus rating. If there is anyone within 100 miles of this location needing help with their hearing, please visit this Miracle-ear location. You will not be disappointed.

I have had my hearing aids for 1 year. I was recently called for a checkup appointment. Upon arriving I find that the gentleman that had served me in the past was no longer with the company. I was served by an overly aggressive young man whose first order of business was to tell me that the technology of my hearing aids was out dated. I was informed that I could get the new and improved technology "for only" an additional $5,600.00. I asked how long the new technology has been available, surprisingly it has been available for "thats right" 1 year. So initially I was sold out dated technology. Go shopping before you spend that kind of money, there has to be better places to do business with.

The proper exam and fit is so vital. I was fortunate to find both on my first trip. A well qualified, experienced clinician makes for a successful choice of device. Follow up visits for adjustments are very necessary to obtain ultimate results. This is an important thing and is stressed by clinician, "I can't fix it if you don't report a problem". There is no charge for any visits for 3 years. They even fixed one at no charge after dog bit it. But I recommend that you search Miracle Ear on the basis of finding an experienced clinician. The reviews tell me that is a big cause of the complaints.

My first pair of Miracle ear hearing aids did not work properly or fit. They fell out of my ears. I called dennis **, the salesman, 2 days after he came out to my home. I said they did not work and I wanted my money back. He said he would be out in 2 weeks. He told me to wear them for 2 more weeks. I said I can not do that. They don't stay in and don't work right. He said he would be out in 2 more weeks. Really?? What is wrong with this person? He debited my credit card in the meantime, 3 weeks from his first visit. I have had 3 hearing aids now which none worked for me. I asked for my money back every time! Now they say they will not refund my money because it is over 30 days. Of course it is! He made sure of that. They are crooks!!
