I didn't think my physical exam by my regular nurse practitioner was sufficient. I was persuaded by Life Screening they did a better job, so I decided to go with them to test my heart and my arteries, and basic stuff.
I've always been healthy but they found my cholesterol level a little higher than it should be. That's kinda consistent with what I had before. So, everything was pretty much in keeping with my medical history.
I'd recommend Life Line Screening. In fact, I've gotten some email since then and it's kinda reminded me that I probably should be thinking about doing it this year. However they need to be more clear about where it is they're meeting in a building. I was going to the front door and they were in the back door.

Life Line sent me a promotio in the mail and the price was very affordable.The staff was phenomenal. I had a couple of questions and they answered them. The price that they charged was very reasonable. If I went to my normal doctor and had all those tests done, I would have paid three times as much.
The only complaint I have is the tablet you use to first register is such a pain to use. You touch the screen in the wrong way, it would delete everything. You had to start over. I did that three times, and finally, I just took it out front and said, "I can't do this." So, someone asked the questions and filled it out for me but everything was great.

Life Line’s advertisement caught my eye. They kept sending me stuff in the mail. I'm getting older, I make sure my health is intact. Instead of you just going through the regular doctor and different stuff, let me go to someone that's gonna actually do the certain kind of screening that the doctor does not do. That what caught my interest. I decided to go ahead and give it a try and to do it.
When I first went in, the tech was set up. There were people in there waiting. They had different tables in different areas to walk off and privately secure. The tech was sitting there and called me over and sat down and went over the package that I purchased and explained to me exactly what was going on.
Everyone that I went to that I've seen that day made me feel really comfortable. It made me feel that they was knowledgeable about what they were doing. The screening was of good quality. They said that it was a little plaque build up, nothing serious. And they explained to me everything else was good besides the little plaque build up. That's something that's preventable.
I believe the result is something that I can share with my doctor, let him know that do exists. This is like me getting a second opinion. Going with Life Line was worth it. It's not just a company trying to just make money off people. It seems like they're actually concerned with health and people's health and help them live a healthier life.
I talked to my wife. I told her my experience and she said she's gonna do it too in the future. It is something that we're planning on keeping on doing maybe once or twice a year or every a couple of years. We will continue to use it.

I’m a preventive kind of guy. It’s how I take care of my cars, my house, my life. I believe in preventive maintenance. An ounce of prevention takes care of a pound of cure.
Life Line Screening is doing some things that my medical provider doesn’t normally do unless it’s something that has to be done due to a problem that is just discovered.
And a long time ago, before Life Line Screening was invented, I went to the heart hospital and they checked my arteries when I was very young. Back then, they just charged $99 or $100 to do it. With Life Line they checked everything. They checked bone density, they did the heart, artery, aorta measure. They did the aorta check, checking all your veins and stuff, checking all the major stuff. EKG, checking your heart.
People at Life Line did a good job. These guys were nice, professional, very thorough, so I have no complaints. I was impressed overall. I like the explanations of the results. They give you paperwork and it’s pretty thorough. It goes through a lot of pictures. For what you pay I think it’s a heck of a deal. But then again, you can’t put price on health.
The only thing they can improve on would be to the time you get there to your appointment and the time they pull you in.

I got screened to compare it with what I already know from my doctor, to see how their equipment equals to what I get done with my doctor.
The process was very comfortable. Everything was done like I expected it to be. I got the tests they had available. They put things on my wrists and my ankles and they did the blood test. The results make me stay on track to improve.

Life Line’s price was reasonable and the tests were things that I haven’t done before. Both my wife and I have had it done twice and I think the tests were things we hadn't had done before, either during an annual physical or anything like that. The report was nice and my personal doctor likes that report.
The first time we did it was at a recreation center. The second time was at a conference room at a golf course clubhouse. I had the aorta screening and ultra sound. My wife had the bone density screening.
I’ve recommended Life Line to both of my sons. I do recommend it to people, whether they want to hear about it or not.

The literature that came with the application for the Life Line Screening really got me interested. Though we had to wait 30 minutes before it was my turn, it was done very professionally. The results came okay except for one. I’m feeling healthy anyways. Screening is an extra thing to do to protect yourself.

I got a notice that Life Line was going to be in the area and I was making sure everything was in good working order. The screening was thorough and it pretty much confirmed that I didn't have any issues to be concerned about. No heart or circulatory issues of any kind.
The staff was great but I guess it would have been nice to have a better explanation of what each of the tests was for, in order to be able to make a decision about whether which ones I wanted and which ones I maybe didn't need.

Life Line is the one that comes to mind for preventative screening. We get the mailings and it had been a year or two since I had done it, so it was just time.
I had no problem with the people. But they were so far behind for about one hour. However I have a friend who had a really bad experience. They rushed her through all these tests, she was done in 20 minutes.
I had an A1c done and my result was a 5.7. And six weeks later was my physical and they ran one at the clinic and it was a 6. And I guess I have found that in the past that if you do a test that has been done, it's always higher at the clinic, so I like the Life Line one better. I was satisfied with the tests that were done.

My husband and I both had screening a couple of years ago or so, and a couple of the test results was borderline, where we needed to get some further screening or attention. And so, we thought it'd just be good to kind check those levels out again.
Life Line is in our city and they were easily contacted, and it was good. I don't think there are any other ones that we saw that came to North Platte. The screening techs were quiet, and precise, and kind.

I did some screening because my insurance company offered that kind of stuff. And I get a regular check-up every year, but they don't do that like the heart check-up.
Life Line’s tech explained what they were about to do, and they were really efficient and fast. I did the heart screening and where they check the blood flow and they did the sonogram on the aortic heart. The results came really quick and there was no bad news.

I have gotten quite a few preventative screenings done through Lifeline. My doctor always told me that if I feel that I want anything, to get it because he could not do the same thing for the price that I have to pay.
But I was not at all happy the day that I was at the one in Richmond. It was cold in there. They don't turn the heat on. You couldn't take your coat off. The people were all congested. Their screening techs always been very nice though. And the doctor always seems to be happy with the results.

Life Line’s offer sounded pretty good. When I made the appointment, it was pretty good and easy. When I got there, I waited for two minutes. Then, I got called and I stopped at each station, and everything went quite well. All the stations were separated, and they performed whatever service they provided. It was good. I liked my screening. It was a cloudy day outside that day, but when I got inside, it was sunshine.

Patients with Medicare should be aware that the wellness visit with a counselor counts as an annual checkup for Medicare. That means that if you do the wellness visit, which involves sitting at a desk and talking to a counselor about lifestyle changes and mental health assessment you can't get an actual checkup and blood tests from a medical doctor for a year afterward or Medicare won't pay.
I found this out the hard way and had to pay for my annual checkup with a doctor. Don't let Lifeline convince you to take the "free health assessment", yes it is free but it counts as a medical checkup even though no doctor physically examines you or orders blood work.

Our supplemental insurance recommended Life Line.
This was the second time we had screening with them. We had at done it a year before but the first time was a little smoother. This time there wasn’t enough staff.
But overall, it was good information. They alerted my husband to a condition he had that he didn’t know about so, that we appreciate going to these because, for one, our insurance covers it. And that we had found out about a condition that we had that we didn’t know about

I had specialty checks and I took the lab resuts from Life Line and compare them with the lab results I get from my doctor and then we discuss them to see if anything has changed or if anything disagrees. And they're not the same. I get some results from one that I don't get from the other, so I just get a broader view. Things change by what day you do it, too, but it still gives me a good overview. My doctor believes Life Line’s results and I believe them.

I got screening done to look if there is something our family doctor missed. I’ve done it a number of times when I lived in Charlotte, North Carolina. The screenings that I had done in Charlotte were a little better and was done more precisely and less hurried than I got here in Greenville.

I have always wanted to take a proactive preventative approach for my health. My primary care doctor would not make the kind of appointments for the service used at Life Line offers so that's why I went and one of the things that I liked about it was when you get the results, you can take them to your doctor.
The screening tech is not as good as the people who do the exams. The tech was knowledgeable, but the process was slow. I think a better computer set up of a program so that when you use it and your name and everything come up, everything would be there. But I've been really pleased with my results for cancer, bone, joint, and gynecologist screening and I have to take it to my doctor. Overall I have been very pleased with my experience.

Life Line Screening is convenient and I like its price. The last time, I had one screening but prior to that time, I had multiple. And the results seem to be pretty good.
However there was a pretty long wait despite the fact that I had an appointment. I waited over an hour. If there’s any way they can narrow that window, that would be really helpful and help people plan their time better.

I've been maintaining my cholesterol and my blood pressure, and everything. I've lost a lot of weight since over the past three years and the good thing is I was taking a blood pressure pill. I found my blood pressure a little low, so I have to have a little sodium to keep it going, but I'd rather afford to do lower rather than higher.
My doctor had told me that I had atherosclerosis of the aorta, but they weren’t able to give me any other tests. I had been seeing Life Line Screening and I just wanted to know how much calcification that I had. I found out that it was very, very mild and so, I just changed my diet and trying to eat healthy and trying to live longer.
I have been talking to people on and I'm sharing with some of the members in my congregation that they need to go get that Life Line Screening because that tells if you have clogged arteries. Also I'm trying to get my husband to do it 'cause he's a little overweight. But he's got healthy blood pressure and cholesterol. He was borderline diabetic years ago, but he's pretty much healthy. He has sciatic pain but he doesn't wanna know if something's with his body.
I felt very comfortable during the screening.
I'm gonna keep Life Line because I wanna know how my progress and make sure that it hasn't gone from mild to worse, or anything like that. The only thing that I shouldn't have had to pay for and that was the cholesterol test because I get that at Kaiser. I think I paid around 250 for all tests and my last payment is gonna be due in February and I have to call so I can cancel. I'm a VIP member and they l will continue to take payments out of my check.

I get preventative screening all the time. I’m a metal worker. How do I know if the results from Life Line are accurate or not? If they’re accurate, then it’s a pretty good deal.

I called to see how much I still owed for a screening a yr. ago. I was told I had a $19.95 cr. toward my next screening. I said I didn't want another screening and want a refund of my credit! I was told I can't have a refund but can apply it toward my next screening.
I was NOT told a yr. ago that I would be paying for a membership for the rest of my life and I cancelled it! Today I called my credit card co. and have been billed ANOTHER $19.95!!!! And the credit does not appear! I want the new charge removed NOW!!!! And I want my credit refunded! And I want this so called membership CANCELLED!!!

I’m a disabled veteran. I got hurt in Iraq and I was having all kinds of issues and to get an appointment with the VA, sometimes to get stuff done, it’s taking time. I read what people wrote about Life Line. It cost me $129 for everything, and then I started getting a free one because I pay $19 at the end of the month or something every month and I get something done for free. But I haven’t received anything in the e-mail. The check-in with them was a little bit slow, but there was a lot of people. The people were great. And I forgot my glasses and this lady loaned me her Cheaters. “I must be somebody special,” I said. Everybody you talked to, they were polite, very professional. I got two nurses in my family and they told me I’ve gotten better. I’m just happy with them.

My first time with Life Line Screening was good. I didn’t have anything to complain about. The test was quick and easy and the atmosphere was pretty good. The price was also fair. I just suggest that they use the manual blood pressure instead of the automatic because I am in the health field and I know for some people, that the automatic will run higher on some people. You get a more consistent blood pressure off of the manual. Still, I would recommend it and I plan on going through again later on in the future to see where I’m at health-wise.

I signed up for a screening and was paying for it $19.95 a month. Here it is a year later and they are still billing me and taking it off my card every month! I'm trying to get it to stop. No success yet.

I do not plan to ever go back to Life Line Screening for any screening in the future. I signed up and paid for 4 tests to be done. When I arrived, I was asked for my Medicare card and apparently signed up for a wellness exam. I thought I was just signing paperwork for the tests I signed up for. No verbal mention was made to me about an an additional charge for a wellness visit. I went through the wellness exam which seemed frivolous to me.
The nurse practitioner said she wasn't sure why I was there. I left the screening thinking everything was okay. Within 30 days I received a bill from Life Line Screening for a co-pay on the wellness exam which was much higher than my own doctor for a physical because the doctor from Life Line Screening was outside my network.
My wife has called and tried to negotiate with them and got a 20% concession on the co-pay but that is all. She has spent so much time, effort and frustration that we have decided to pay the discounted co-pay just to make it go away. In addition, I cannot go to my physician for my yearly physical this year which would normally be covered by my Insurer.
I do not plan to go back to Life Line Screening and don't recommend it to others. BUYER BEWARE!

Over three hour wait time for everyone in the room. Prepaid, so you don't walk out. Not recommended unless you want to waste a day fasting. Staff could not give an explanation why the lengthy delay.
